Pisa: the Leaning Tower, the Square of Miracles and the Historical Centre The classical tour includes: the religious centre with the Cathedral (11th C.), the Baptistery (12th C.), the Monumental Cemetery (13th C.), the Leaning Tower (12th C.) (Entrance fees are not included) In Pisa you can also visit Piazza dei Cavalieri (16th C.), the old market-place and important museums, such as the San Matteo National Museum (housing great Medieval and Renaissance woks of art) and the only Sinopia Museum in the world.

Volterra: the Town and its Museums Founded on a hill between the Cecina Valley and the Era Valley, Volterra is known for its Cathedral and the Priori Square, as far as for the ruins of the Roman Theatre and for the several alabaster workshops. The Guarnacci Etruscan Museum is one of the most important archaeological collections in Italy. The Pinacoteca (Painting Gallery) houses wonderful masterpieces of Tuscan Painting, such as the altar-pieces by Domenico Ghirlandaio, Luca Signorelli and the famous Deposition by Rosso Fiorentino.
Other Destinations The fascinating pisan countryside is extremely rich in treasures of art and is scattered with little villages and Parish Churches. Near Pisa you can visit the Romanesque St. Peter Basilica and a very interesting Carthusian Monastery. San Miniato is world-wide known for its black and white truffles.
